Make a friend before coming to India to buy medicine

If you plan to come to India and buy your medicine, that's fine.  Just make sure you're going to a reputable pharmacy.  Why?  Aren't most pharmacies legitimate?  Yes and no.  It all depends where you go in India and what city.  Even then, you still could be taken for a ride.  The simple reason being is if you're a foreigner (Westerner or non local language speaker) you will get ripped off.  When you want to buy thousands of dollars worth of medicine and head back to the states or Europe, beware!  Its not like going to the local CVS, Walgreens or any other major pharmacy back home (USA).
